OpenText Content Manager (CM), formerly known as TRIM, is the number one Enterprise Content Management (ECM) / Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) used in Australian Government since the 1980s. It is a governance-based system designed to meet the global needs of government, regulated industry and enterprises. Content Manager has been designed to ISO15489-1:2001 Information and documentation—Records Management standards and supports ISO:16175-2:2011, the digital records management standard.
In addition to its class-leading records management capability, extensibility and security, Content Manager offers flexibility and interoperability. Content Manager was designed and built in Canberra specifically to meet Australian records management standards and practices.
To this day the OpenText CM strategic R&D team resides in Australia, ensuring that records standards and requirements important to the Australian market are met by the software.
